I'll admit it, I am a product junkie. I have tried several different shampoos, conditioners, moisturizer, oils and hot oil treatments.I think I have found the perfect shampoo and conditioner for me. I'm still on the search for the perfect oil...or oil combination.
For the last few months I have been using Tea Tree Naturals Shampoo and Conditioner (by Fantasia) and I love it! It is reasonably prices, smells great, leaves my hair feeling clean and moisturized and leaves no buildup. What more could one want.
I was checking someone else's blog and and I saw that the put their locs in a little mesh bin thingie (not sure of the proper name for it) and it was cute. I went to the hair store yesterday and bought a mesh cap for about 33 cents. I came home and put my hair in the mesh cap and used a think back hair tie to secure it...then I was ready to go. I was going to put a few quick curl tendrils in the front (via a quick little braid-out) but I didn't have enough time and didn't want to be late for church. It's a simple little quick hairdo.
Ok...soooooooo I didn't make it to the gym this morning.
~I had to take my husband to work this morning
~I had to run a few errands
~I had to set up my sisters computer and all of the peripherals and extras
I haven't exactly eaten healthy so far today...but I didn't eat unhealthily either. I know today isn't over, but I doubt I'll be working out any time the rest of the day. OK...tomorrow is a new day. I'll start with a work out and a healthy breakfast...then it's off to the job.
In addition to my loc Journey I have decided to begin a weight loss journey. I have been with the same man for 7 years and of those 7 years we have been married a little over a year. In that 7 year time frame I have gained about 50 pounds...and we have no children. My work schedule makes working out tough and sometimes impossible. However, my plan is to improve my eating habit, incorporate working out (even if it is just work out tapes) and shed the pounds.
I have had my Sisterlocks since February 2007. Prior to my locs journey tried short hair cuts, braids, two-strand twists, weaves...you name it. I have finally found true happiness with my locs. This blog will detail my Locdom Journey.
